No Council Cutbacks!
The Industrial Workers of the World Edinburgh Branch supports council workers fighting against pay and service cutbacks.
A Council Worker Solidarity group has been created to work with council workers to fight these cuts. Activities have involved blockading scab refuse trucks, and distributing a news-sheet which cuts through the council rhetoric.
The Council Worker Solidarity group meets every Tuesday at 6pm, in the Autonomous Centre of Edinburgh, 17 West Montgomery Place.
The IWW Edinburgh Branch meets on the second Monday of every month, 7.30pm, also in the Autonomous Centre of Edinburgh.
