Our next Branch meeting will be taking place on Thursday 14th April, 7.30pm at Hydra Books

Big item on the agenda is our 2016 Annual Conference. The IWW Annual Conference is a chance for new and existing members to meet Fellow Workers from other parts of the country, discuss and vote on the issues of the day, and attend workshops and discussions about IWW stuff. Bristol needs to send 14 delegates so there’s plenty of space. WE ENCOURAGE NEWCOMERS OR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE – the conference is a great way to get orientated and inspired. There are no costs involved with coming to the conference as a delegate. Travel (from wherever you are in the South West), accommodation, food – all is provided by the union free of charge.

Can you drive a minibus? We need someone to drive us up to the Conference venue and also do some shuttling between the train station and the venue.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE AND/OR DRIVING A MINIBUS CONTACT US AT THE USUAL EMAIL ADDRESS: bristol at iww.org.uk

Among other things we’ll also be talking about our stall and possibly workshop at the Bristol Anarchist Bookfair, about joining the Mayday march, and about our AGM.

If you are a member you can read the detailed agenda here:
