  • As a standard policy, we may require up to 30 days to fully process membership registrations (the process is usually quicker for returning members). Your membership will become active, and you will receive your new membership card (if you request one) and access to online IWW member services (the IWW Member's Area, Forum, etc.) after your first dues payment has been received. Our Membership Team will confirm your membership re-activation via email.
  • It is union policy that members are entitled to representation in a grievance or a disciplinary after three months of membership in continuous good standing. If you are joining because you have an immediate workplace problem, you should speak to your local IWW union or workplace branch to see if representation can be arranged, or email the IWW Communications Administrator to be put in touch with them (click here).
  • IWW members are expected to abide by the aims and constitution of the union (click here to open in a new tab).
