The IWW is holding workplace representative training in Manchester on Saturday 3 October 2026, giving members the practical skills and knowledge they need to stand up to bosses and support their fellow workers.
We are a fighting union for all workers. For us, solidarity is a weapon, not a word. Building workers’ power means having an active, educated membership with the confidence and skills to organise, represent each other and hold bosses to account.
The training has two parts:
1. Complete the online course
Before attending the training day, members should complete our short online workplace representative course.
2. Attend the in-person training day
Saturday 3 October 2026
10am to 4pm
St Wilfrids Enterprise Centre
Royce Road
Manchester
M15 5BJ
Please complete the online course before attending so that we can make the most of the in-person session.
This training is part of building a stronger and more confident union: one where workers have the skills to support one another, stand up for each other and organise collectively to improve our working lives.
If you have any questions or need support accessing the online course, contact manchester.membership [at] iww [dot] org [dot] uk.
