We, the Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England Regional Administration (WISE-RA) of the IWW, stand in complete solidarity with Palestine Action and with all activists who resist the Government’s extrajudicial threats of proscription. In the face of the genocide of Palestinians by Israel, aided by Western powers including the UK government, they are seeking to brand as terrorists those who have flung a spanner into the works of the international war machine.

We will never condemn resistance to genocide.

We support Palestine Action’s successful decommissioning of two Royal Air Force military aircrafts at RAF Brize Norton, a crucial node of the imperialist war machine, where British spy planes are refuelled and primed for surveillance flights over Gaza.

Taking direct action for Palestine is a selfless act, and the most effective way to dismantle the genocidal British war machine. Every second of disruption saves lives.

The ordinary human beings showing extraordinary bravery by putting their liberty on the line to stop this genocide are not terrorists – they are our friends and comrades. We support them without qualification.

By brandishing proscription and terrorism charges, the government seeks to target Palestine Action in isolation and to strike fear and submission into the movement against genocide as a whole. By coming for Palestine Action, they come for all of us.

History has shown us that appealing to the establishment is not enough.
Long live Palestine Action.
