Tell the British Council to support language school workers during the coronavirus crisis

When: Wed 18th March

The British Council (BC) accredits language schools in the UK.

For too long, the BC has ignored labour standards in their accreditation process.

The TEFL Workers’ Union is here to say: Enough is enough! The BC needs to step up and ensure the physical and financial security of language school staff during the coronavirus crisis.

Please tweet:

@BritishCouncil, do the right thing! Make sure all accredited schools pay staff during the #coronavirus crisis. Please RT.

I stand behind TEFL Workers! British Council, do the right thing! Tell all accredited schools: whether open or closed, whether staff are in work or self-isolating, on full hours or reduced hours, schools must offer full pay during the coronavirus crisis.
