This one is going out to the prime minister of Turkey and other officials in protest of their recent proposed amendment to try and make strikes for banking, public notaries and aviation services illegal.
Dear Sirs,
The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) stand in Solidarity with Hava-Is in their condemnation of the proposed amendment to your laws banning strikes in the aviation sector, banking services and by public notaries.
We insist you stop your attacks on the Working class, reinstate all dismissed Workers from the Civil Aviation Union (Hava-Is) and drop your draconian proposals to prevent Union rights.
The repressive parliamentary motions are an affront on true democracy and will be fought against by Unions and Activists worldwide.
We look forward to hearing of the overturning of this repressive motion soon.
