Reading IWW are excited to announce and encourage all trade unionists along to the 2nd Meeting of the Reading Shop Stewards Network.
Time/Date: 7pm, Thursday 24th September
Venue: Reading Friends Meeting House, 2 Church St, off London St, Reading
The Reading Shop Stewards Network was launched in July by activists from the IWW, Usdaw, RMT, Unite, Unison and CWU unions.
Now seeking to encourage more rank n file members, reps and stewards from these and other trade unions to get involved, the group will hold it’s second meeting Thursday, developing ideas for the next few months, agreeing activity to support workers in dispute in these tough times and building communication and solidarity across the Reading labour movement.
