London IWW in Solidarity with the Cleaners at Société Générale
The London Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World wishes to express our deep concern about the slashing of hours and suspension of the cleaners fighting for justice at the British offices of Société Générale. We strongly condemn the employer Initial Facilities Services (IFS), the cleaning contractor which employs the cleaners and Société Générale, France’s second-largest bank, which outsources its cleaning to IFS.
We affirm our solidarity with the cleaners and assure them that we will support them in their struggles until they win both the reinstatement of their jobs and their hours of work, paid at the London Living Wage.
