Our next text is a collection of essays by dialectical anarchist and social ecologist Murray Bookchin edited by his daughter Debbie Bookchin. Bookchin’s work was a significant influence on the democratic turn of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), so these writings have a direct relevance to the Kurdish struggle in Turkey, Syria and beyond.
Every six weeks or so we organise a reading group meeting to study texts of political interest. The meetings are open to everyone and last up to two hours. Email the branch if you’re interested in getting hold of a copy of the text. westmids [at] iww [dot] org [dot] uk
