March’s film will be ‘The Square’, which follows a group of activists as they participate in the events leading to the overthrow of Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak in 2011. The revolution’s failure to lead to positive changes in Egyptian society, which in some ways is worse than it was under the dictatorship, begs the question if there were failings in the actions and demands of the revolutionaries.
